Gordon Brown Offers To Attend Climate Change Summit

The Prime Minister has said he would personally attend the climate change summit in Copenhagen to ensure a successful outcome. Writing in Newsweek magazine, Gordon Brown said there was a “grave danger” a deal would not be reached - an outcome he said would be “unforgivable”.

Mr Brown is the first major world leader to say he would attend the summit which is aimed at securing agreement on worldwide cuts in greenhouse gas emissions.
